Said to have originated thousands of years ago in ancient China, Anma is a Japanese massage utilizing a combination of gentle rocking, vibration, hand rotation and pressure points. It can be done right through clothing and a sheet if necessary or on bare skin. Oil is not used in Anma except for working on the neck and feet.
